Open Paint Sessions!
OPEN PAINT TIME!
What it is and how it works:
*Open paint time is not an instructed class. You are free to paint whatever you like!
*You can choose a studio image as inspiration for your painting, or create something ‘from scratch’…it’s up to you!
Studio paint time:
*Open paint times are walk-in only.
*Online registration is not required. Please DO NOT fill out the form on the event calendar to reserve a seat. The page is informational only.
*You can come in anytime during the hours posted up to one hour before the end of the session. For instance, if the open paint time is from 4 pm-8 pm, you may come in and start as late as 7 pm. The session will end at 8 pm.
Pricing:
*You start by choosing a surface to paint on. Canvases range in price from $8 – $20, depending on the size you choose. Wine glasses and glass vases are available, as well. All surfaces must be purchased in the studio. You are not allowed to bring in surfaces from outside the studio.
*Your paint time will begin once your paint is poured (the studio attendant will pour the paint) and ends when you depart the studio.
*Studio time is charged by the half-hour @ $5.00 per half-hour, per person. If your time begins at 4 pm and you paint until 5:15 pm, the charge would be $15 for the studio time. This includes paint and supplies such as brushes, aprons, easels, etc.
*Once you finish painting, you can check out at the register for your surface and studio time.

*Again, please remember that no instruction is given during an open paint session.
*BYOB studio: Bring whatever you would like to eat or drink! A bottle opener is available in the studio; please bring all other supplies needed (plates, cups, utensils, etc.) from home. Seating is not assigned and is first come first served. Large parties may be split.
